When you submit a vacation house check by filling out the electronic form below or submitting a vacation house check form at City Hall or via regular mail, the Newcastle Police will periodically check your house and have your contact information in case of an emergency. Since this is only one way to help with safety, make sure you take the necessary steps when planning to be away from your home.
Stop the mail and paper, or have a neighbor pick them up each day. Also have a trusted neighbor keep an eye on your house and pick up any mail, packages or other items that may be left on your door.
Send an email to the Newcastle Police to cancel or change a previously submitted Vacation House Check.
In your email please submit your name, address, phone number and dates of change or cancellation.
