City of Newcastle hosts special events and programs throughout the year to celebrate our community, history, and people. From our Lunar New Year celebration to Pumpkins in the Parks, and a full calendar of summer events, we offer a variety of opportunities for all ages to come together.

Summer Events at Lake Boren Park
Gather your friends, bring your families, and immerse yourselves in the warmth and joy that Newcastle summer events offer. Save the dates for our 2024 lineup:

Newcastle Days at Lake Boren Park
Join us for our signature community event on Saturday, September 7! Featuring live stage entertainment, giant inflatables, carnival games and other kids' activities, community and vendor booths, food trucks, and more. Also returning is the Cars on the Green car show, featuring classic and unique cars through the years.
