Newcastle Days 2018: The Food Options
Posted on 08/20/2018

This year, Newcastle Days will feature a variety of food vendors!

If you’re enjoying the Broadway on Boren show at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, or any of the fun activities all day on Saturday, Sept. 8, make sure to stop by one of these wonderful vendors for a bite to eat! Food will be available Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Frank’s Franks will be offering gourmet sausages and all-beef hot dogs. You can also find Seattle-based food truck Chomp selling fresh burritos, bowls and wraps. If you want thin-crust, apple-wood smoked, New York-style pizzas, be sure to check out A Fire Inside Wood Fired Pizza. Anyone who has been enjoying Newcastle’s Concerts in the Park this summer will recognize Tastyz, who will be at Newcastle Days selling their signature kettle corn and shaved ice. And, if you want to cool off, be sure to grab some ice cream from the Newcastle Kiwanis booth.

If you’re 21 or over, make sure to stop by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Beer and Wine Garden on Friday and Saturday. Beer will be provided by Resonate Brewery, while Cedar River Cellars will offer wine.
